CRUSH CELL CAM – 8MP Trail Camera Review
Who is it for?/Description:
If you just can’t wait to see the images your trail camera captures or have to travel a long distance to check your trail camera the Crush Cell Cam 8MP trail camera is for you.
The Crush Cell camera is currently Wildgame Innovations only offering in the cellular trail camera trail camera offering. We currently feature it in our Best Cellular Game and Trail Camera Reviews and Buying Guide.
This trail camera as a built-in color viewer (this is one of only two Wildgame Innovations trail cameras with a built-in viewer) and the ability to capture 720p high definition video with audio, but many of the other features of this trail camera are not as high-end. It only has an 8MP camera and the trigger speed of less than 1 second, which is slower than on some of the other Wildgame Innovations models. The 60 piece invisible infrared (no glow) LED flash and detection range is up to 70 feet, which is good for a no glow camera. While some of this camera’s features are not the best Wildgame Innovations has to offer, not including them on this camera make this unit one of the more affordable cellular trail cameras on the market. That being said, this unit does have some top end features like the Wildgame Innovations Flextime Time Lapse Technology that allows images captured by the camera to be turned into a time lapse video with the included Flextime software.
Key features that we are pleased to see on this camera include the Lightsout no glow technology and the Realtree Xtra Camo exterior. Cellular trail cameras are more expensive so concealing their location when capturing images during both day and night helps to prevent theft- especially if you are hunting on public land. Another feature we are happy about on this camera is the external battery port. Purchasing an external battery pack is a great idea, because in most instances people who purchase a cellular trail camera aren’t constantly checking the camera, which is why it is great to have a way to extend the battery life of the unit.

This camera is great! It only took me 15 minutes to set up and that includes SIM card set up using T-Mobile. The camera sends photos using text / mms messages so no data plan is required.
…after mounting it to the tree I walked about 40 yards and got a picture of myself mounting the camera. So overall if it lasts I am pleased.
Awesome product!

NEW TERRA 8 LIGHTSOUT - 8MP Trail Camera Review
Who is it for?/Description:
The Terra 8 Lightsout trail camera comes with a 8MP camera and the other features that are on the Terra 8 low glow model that is listed above, but has the added features of the 36 piece Lightsout (no glow) infrared flash for maximum concealment when taking pictures or recording video in the dark, higher resolution 540p video capture, and a wide angle 16:9 aspect ratio option.
This no glow flash has a respectable range of 55 feet, which is only 5 feet less than the low glow version. However, giving up 5 feet of range in order to keep your camera from being detected is well worth the trade-off.
If you are on a tight budget and looking for an affordable no glow trail camera for hunting or surveillance purposes this model could be a great choice. It is also a great choice and price point for people who are looking to buy multiple no glow cameras to cover a lot of ground.
