Campark T45 Review
We are pretty excited about Campark’s T45. Not only is it a full featured trail camera, which isn’t always to find in a budget friendly model, but it addresses a big source of frustration with trail camera users. Empty pictures.
In addition to false triggers there can be several reasons why your trail camera is giving you empty pictures. Campark has done 3 things with the T45 to help eliminate this problem.
- Gave it a 120° Wide Angle Camera Lens
- Gave it a 120° Wide Motion Detection Range
- Gave the camera a 0.3 second Trigger Speed, which means that 0.3 seconds after motion is detected the camera is told to capture the image.
The wide angle camera lens and detection range allow the T45 to cover over more than twice the area than some other trail cameras, which can be very helpful when you don’t know exactly where you want to point the trail camera when you are setting it up. Combine that with the very fast trigger speed and it becomes very difficult for anything to avoid being detected or leave the area before the image is captured. .
We previously did a full review of the Campark T45. If you want to read it, you can see the full review here.
Pros
- 14MP camera with 120° wide-angle camera lens
- 1080p HD recording with audio
- 3 Passive Infrared (PIR) Motion Sensors that give the camera a 120° wide detection angle
- Adjustable 65 foot detection range
- Fast 0.3 second trigger speed
- 2.4” color LCD screen that aids in the set up of the camera and allows you to preview pictures in the field
- Camera+Video mode (The trail cam will take photos first and then record video after the motion sensor triggers the camera.)
- Time lapse mode
- Image stamp with moon phase, temperature, date, and time
- Camo exterior
Cons
- A little larger than some other trail cameras
- Uses microSD card
- User manual could be better, but this probably isn’t a deal breaker for most people.

Victure HC200 Review
The Victure HC200 is one of the two most affordable trail cameras we recommend. Not only is it a full-featured low glow trail camera, but it offers you the ability to capture HD videos in 1080p, which isn’t always an option on bargain priced trail cameras.
If you would rather capture pictures instead of record video the HC200 does a great job with its 12MP camera and 0,5 second trigger speed. In addition, it offers you the ability to take time lapse photos, which allows you an opportunity to take pictures at predetermined intervals to allow you the opportunity to see what is in the area even if nothing comes close enough to trigger the motion sensor. Note: When using time lapse mode, the motion sensor on the camera will stop working. In other words, the motion sensor will not trigger pictures or videos to be captured when the time lapse feature is being used.
The Victure HC200 will appeal to anyone who is looking for a good performing trail camera. Plus, it is also a great option for those who are looking to purchase multiple trail cameras while staying on a budget.
We previously did a full review of the Victure HC200. If you want to read it, you can see the full review here.

- Camo exterior

APEMAN H45 Review
The H45 trail camera from APEMAN along with the Victure HC200 we mentioned above is one of the two lowest priced trail cameras we recommend.
The APEMAN H45 is a full featured trail camera that should appeal to more than just bargain hunters. With its’ 12MP camera, fast trigger speed, solid no glow flash, and the ability to record HD videos the H45 can easily meet the needs of the majority of hunters at a price that is less than what you would expect. If you are comparing the H45 to the Victure HC200 you will see that they have similar specs and are pretty much the same trail camera.
If you are looking for a solid trail camera at the absolute best price the APEMAN H45 is a great option. It is also great for people who need to buy multiple trail cameras and don’t want to blow a ton of money.

Moultrie A700i Review

If you are looking for a cellular trail camera or trying to find a trail camera with no glow flash both features are pretty much non-existent especially if you don’t want to spend well over $100. This is where the Moultrie A700i comes in as it brings functionality that isn’t often found at this price point.
Traditionally trail cameras are either cellular trail cameras or they are not. The A700i isn’t a cellular trail camera in the truest sense of the term because it can’t transmit images over cellular networks right out of the box, but if you want to have this feature in the future you can upgrade this model. The A700i is compatible with Moltrie’s Cellular Field Modems which can convert compatible trail cameras into cellular trail cameras that can work on either the AT&T (MA2 modem) or Verizon (MV2 modem) networks. You can buy the MA2 (AT&T) and MV2(Verizon) modems here.
The A700i comes with no glow flash that has a range of 50 feet. If you are looking for a trail camera that can be used for security and surveillance purposes no glow flash is a must. That being said a flash range of 50 feet might not be enough for some people. If you really like the A700i, but don’t NEED the no glow flash you might want to consider the A700, which is a few dollars less and comes with a low glow flash that has a longer 60 foot flash range. In case you were wondering the A700 is also Moultrie mobile compatible. You can buy the A700 here.
It is also worth noting the Moultrie is one of the more established names in the trail camera industry. They have worked to create a reputation of dependability and back it up with a 2-Year Warranty, which is longer than most other manufacturers.
Pros
- 14MP camera
- 720p HD Video Resolution
- 0.7 second trigger speed
- compatible with Moultrie Mobile’s MV2 and MA2 Cellular Field Modems
- No Glow Flash
- Great battery life
- Image stamp with date, time, temperature, moon phase, camera name
- Camo exterior
- 2-Year Warranty
Cons
- 50 foot flash range
- 50 detection range
- No color LCD screen

Stealth Cam G42NG Review
ASIN: B00HMN7H04
The G42NG trail camera from Stealth Cam is a terrific compact no glow trail camera that offers great performance at a surprisingly affordable price. When this trail camera first came out you would usually find it priced at close to $200. Now you can often find it priced below $100, which is fantastic when you consider what it can do.
No glow flash isn’t a feature that you find on very many trail cameras in this price range. So when you find out that the G42NG not only has a no glow flash, but that its’ flash range is a massive 100 feet it becomes even more impressive.
In addition to having a no glow flash this Stealth Cam also has a time lapse photo feature that allows you to the camera to take pictures at predetermined intervals to allow you the opportunity to see what is in the area beyond the range of the motion sensor. This is especially helpful when you want to monitor large, or deep, areas. Unlike the other cameras on this list with a time lapse feature, the time lapse on the Stealth Cam G42NG can be enabled even while the trail camera is set to take pictures when the motion sensor is triggered.
Pros
- 10MP camera
- No glow flash with an impressive 100 foot range
- Time lapse photo option
- Trigger speed of less than 0.5 seconds
- Image stamp with moon phase, temperature, date, and time
- Camo exterior
Cons
- 720p HD recording with audio (many models offer full 1080p HD video recording)
- No color LCD screen (not having this helps to keep the trail

APEMAN H70 Review
The H70 is APEMAN’s top of the line trail camera. While the H45 is APEMAN’s most affordable trail camera the H70 is APEMAN’s top of the line model that comes with a lot of great and customizable features.
Between the 20MP camera, its’ 0.2 second trigger speed, time lapse feature, ability to capture 1080p videos, and adjustable (flash or detection) range the H70 leaves you wanting for very little.
Don’t let the specs of the H70 fool you. It isn’t going to break your budget. In fact, it is in the middle of the pack in terms of price when compared to the other trail cameras we have listed here.
Pros
- 20MP camera
- 1080p HD video recording with audio
- Adjustable low glow flash (helps to make sure your images have enough illumination and don’t look washed out)
- Adjustable PIR motion sensor (helps minimize false triggers)
- Lightning fast 0.2 second trigger speed
- 2” color LCD screen that aids in the set up of the camera and allows you to preview pictures in the field
- Photo+Video mode allows you to capture both photos and videos each time the motion sensor is triggered.
- Time-Lapse Function
- Image stamp with moon phase, temperature, date, and time
- Camo exterior
Cons
- Low glow flash (This camera has just about everything you could want. Adding no glow flash would have put the H70 over the top from a features perspective, but it would have increased the price. )
- Using the time-lapse feature disables the PIR (motion sensor), which means that the camera only takes pictures at the predetermined interval you select. The best case would be for the time-lapse feature to work simultaneously with the PIR triggering the camera to take a picture(s) whenever it detects movement (like the higher priced Stealth Cam G42NG does).
